I’m Not There is Rob’s seventh novel and was published by Hobeck Books in September 2022.

Twenty years ago, Lara Arden was abandoned as a six-year old by her mother on a train. Twenty years later, Lara is a detective inspector on her native Isle of Wight when a call comes in. A small child, a boy this time, has also been abandoned on a train. It has to be a coincidence - but then a series of murders take place with one thing in common. They all leave children - alone - behind.

So, who is targeting Lara? What do these abandoned souls have in common? And how does this connect to the mystery of Lara’s missing mother?
